Touched by a Patch of Grass

Despite the oddity of this picture, I saw a tender sweetness in it.

Here is a screen for smoothing the lawn prior to and after seeding

and in the midst of it all is a thriving patch of grass

fulfilling what it was designed to do, namely, GROW!!

The grass did not take inventory of its locale, its environmental properties,

or the contribution it would have on the surroundings.

Instead, the grass just did what it was hard-wired to do.

It grew and subsequently gave me great delight

and gave me a sweet lesson!
